First and foremost, parents, you made it! The first birthday celebration and accompanying cake smash do more than just mark the first full year in your precious baby’s life, but it symbolizes all the hard work, sweat, and tears that you parents put into making it all work. Believe, I’ve been there. When my kids turned one, they seemed so grown up! They were acquiring independence and with that, many routines were starting to change into less baby-like, and more like a kiddo. Looking back at those precious photos and videos of their first birthdays is like traveling in a time capsule. Even when my heart aches because they are so grown up now, I am so thankful for having those memories captured professionally.
